Pleasant Valley Cemetery
Pleasant Valley Cemetery lies in the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of section 10-17-36, a tract measuring 20 rods by 40 rods or five acres.
Nicklas and Kate Schwindt gave the Methodist Episcopal Church a warranty deed, dated and recorded August 17, 1914, in Volume 23, page 385, of the records. Hugh Glenn was the register of deeds. The trustees were John Schwindt, Grant Schumard, C. S. Heath, George Stahley and P. J. Stiles. The cemetery lies to the northeast of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church and is used largely as a family cemetery.
